WESTERN WASHINGTON'S #1 SEPTIC INSTALLATION CONTRACTOR

Building a dependable onsite wastewater system requires specific expertise in local geology, engineering, and code compliance. House Brothers Construction delivers professional septic installation and design services, ensuring your new home or replacement system is flawless, durable, and permitted correctly.

Septic Design & Permits

Our services begin with a comprehensive site evaluation and soil analysis (percolation tests) to determine the ideal system for your property. We then engineer the complete system design, prepare all required documents, and manage the submission process with the local health department to secure all necessary permits, ensuring a smooth start to your project.

Tank & Drainfield Install

We handle all excavation and installation. This includes precisely digging the pit for the septic tank (including our own high-quality precast concrete tanks), installing the distribution box, and accurately laying the drainfield lateral lines and gravel. We guarantee proper slope and stability for reliable gravity flow and soil absorption.

ALTERNATIVE AND REPLACEMENT SYSTEMS

If your property has challenging soil or limited space, we specialize in advanced and alternative septic solutions. This includes designing and installing mound systems, pressurized drainfields, or specialized systems like Eljen and Presby. We also manage the full decommissioning and replacement of older, failed septic systems.

FAQs

The first step is a site and soil evaluation (often called a percolation test or “perc test”) conducted by a licensed designer to determine how quickly the soil absorbs water and to establish the appropriate size and type of drainfield needed.

Alternative systems are required when a conventional gravity system cannot be installed due to high groundwater, shallow bedrock, steep slopes, or slow-draining soil. We provide the expertise to design the best alternative for compliance and functionality.

The physical installation and backfilling usually take 3 to 7 days, but the entire process, including design, soil testing, and permit approval from the health department, can take several weeks or months.

Yes. House Brothers Construction is fully licensed, insured, and compliant with all state and county health department regulations for septic installation and design in Washington.
